ALG, a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings and the industry benchmark for residual values and depreciation data, recently announced its second annual Canadian Residual Value Awards, based on predicted residual values for 2010 model year vehicles.
The ALG awards recognize the leading mainstream and luxury brands as well as the vehicles in each segment that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price.
They are determined after careful study of segment competition, historical vehicle performance and industry trends and are based on analysis using only Canada-specific data.
Honda Canada, Inc., runner-up for the Mainstream Brand Canadian Residual Value Award, received the most individual segment awards: for the CR-V (Compact Utility Vehicle), the Odyssey (Minivan), the Ridgeline (Compact/Midsize Pickup), and the Insight (Hybrid/Alternative Powertrain). Acura, Honda’s luxury division, ranked 3rd for the Luxury Brand Canadian Residual Value Award.
