Honda has earned three coveted 2025 Car and Driver 10Best awards for the third year in a row, more than any other brand. The editors of Car and Driver have honored the Honda Civic and Accord with 10Best Cars awards and the Honda CR-V with a 10Best Trucks and SUVs award.
Now with 95 total awards, Honda has won more Car and Driver trophies than any other brand in the over 40-year history of the award. At least one Honda model has earned a spot on the annual 10Best list since the award's inception in 1983.
"The Car and Driver 10Best awards are among the most recognized and respected automotive milestones, winning these three awards for three straight years is a testament to our ambition to consistently develop, manufacture and deliver class leading products customers have come to expect from Honda," said Emile Korkor, Assistant Vice President, Honda Canada. "The fact our core models, particularly their hybrid-electric variants, continue to be so well received bodes well as our path towards electrification continues."
The Honda Accord, by a wide margin, is the most awarded vehicle in Car and Driver 10Best history. Accord has made the prestigious list an incredible 39 times, including the last 27 years in a row. This is the 11th 10Best award for Civic and the sixth win for CR-V.
The fuel efficient and fun-to-drive Civic Hybrid, Accord Hybrid and CR-V Hybrid are a key step in the Honda electrification strategy. Currently, in Canada, over 50% of Accord and CR-V sales are hybrid-electric trims, and Civic hybrid models ultimately will make up 60% of Civic sales.
All three vehicles are powered by an award-winning advanced Honda two-motor hybrid system that maximizes efficiency while supporting dynamic performance and a more comfortable driving experience. "The new hybrid model maintains the handling and practicality all Civics enjoy, boasts the best fuel economy numbers in the lineup, and it's as quick as the performance-oriented Si," summarized Tony Quiroga, Editor-in-Chief of Car and Driver.
